Don't shoot the piano player - quite yet!
Welcome to the 51st Festival
We are starting to put together a new Craft Event as part of the new Sidmouth Folk Festival from the smoldering ashes of a 50 year old Internationally famous folk festival.
From a quick re-birth, we are just about to take our first steps, into a new big wide world!
The footsteps are similar, we know what we need to do, we just now haven't got a big Daddy to hold our hand!
So as we take our first steps in the world - we may just fall down and hurt ourselves and get a few bumps and bruises.
We
will freely admit that we may make a few mistakes, but they will be
very small
ones. (we hope!!!!)
As this is a craft festival organised by fellow craft workers who have enjoyed many happy and profitable years of trading at the Sidmouth International Festival, we are all taking the same leap of faith. We are trying to keep the spirit of the craft festival alive, but as this is our first attempt at the event, we may need to be treated with kid gloves. We may not be perfect but we are trying....... Yes..... Very trying!
We do have years of experience being at successful shows!
So that should speak volumes!
If you would like to apply to have a stall at the Craft Festival, we are limited to a maximum of 35 stalls, subject to demand. Craft workers who have exhibited in previous years at Sidmouth, will have a priority, but we will welcome any unusual or interesting craft based products for consideration for a stall.
Applications forms are available as a download from this site, or can be obtained by post from Nigel Hartwright.
With your application we will require a Photograph of your Stall and your products.
If you want to apply for a stall and be involved in making it a great success, then even better!
But first off, please make sure you read the fine print.
We have tried to keep things simple and straight to the point.
So we hope that this simple web site will answer any questions you may have quickly.
If you have any comments, these will be very welcomed.
