After 30 years largely devoted to teaching others, David retired in 1999 in order to concentrate more fully on producing his own work.
He has long been recognised for his expertise in desingin and making teapots in a variety of styles. More recently for his turquoise and mauve range of glazes, applied to a range of vessels. Which reflect his long term interest in the natural Earth.
David Works mainly in a smooth, pale stoneware clay, firing in an electric kiln to a temprature of 1250c.
